Export Profile data to an Excel report

You can export the data from your Profile to a Microsoft Excel report to further analyze or visualize the data.

The Excel report includes a Profile worksheet that includes all the Profile data as well as an initial scatter chart of the data. If your Profile uses both the left and right y-axis, then the Excel report includes two scatter charts, one for each y-axis.

The Excel report displays data in the units of measure (UOMs) that are specified in the Profile.

Export Profile data to Excel

1. On the Canvas, double-click the Profile.

   The Profile opens with the Configuration section collapsed.

2. Select Expand the configuration section .

   The Configuration section appears.

3. In the Reports section, select Generate Excel Report.

   

   The Save As dialog appears.

4. Browse to the location in which you want to save the Excel report.

5. In the File name box, enter the name of the Excel report, and then select Save.

   AVEVA Process Simulation creates the .xlsx file and automatically opens it in Excel.
