  • MQTTnet client Library upgraded to version 4.3.7.

  • Support for non-JSON payloads (Text, Headerless CSV) in the generic component.

  • Discovery query enhancements to support Unit of Measure (UoM) discovery, specifying Max StreamId length, filtering by field names and data types.

  • Additional logging enhancements - suppressed unwanted logs.

  • WiX Toolset upgraded to version 5 for Windows Installer.

Resolved issues

This section lists items that were resolved in this release:

  • The adapter now creates streams when a Sparkplug B Metric of data type 13 (BasicDateTime) is used.

  • Fixed the issue where rounding errors could cause failover score to go above 100, preventing the client failover feature from working properly.

  • When multiple items of the same type are discovered, the adapter only sends one type create message with the item definition. This is applicable to PI Web API versions before 2023 SP1.
