Welcome to the AVEVA Gateways Documentation!

AVEVA™ Gateways identifies and classifies consistent engineering data and their graphical representation into a format that is compatible with AVEVA™ Asset Information Management (AIM), previously known as AVEVA NET.

The Gateway extracts input data from various input sources such as Word, PDF, Oracle, SQL and so on. After transforming these extracted data, it exports them in CSV and intelligent Engineering Information and Workflow Model (EIWM) XML files into AVEVA™ AIM.

Benefits of the Gateway:

• Process information from data sources and add it to the common information model, which allows AIM to store a unified and cross-referenced model of all tags across projects or assets.

• Scan information sources for tagged items, extract them and automatically build relationships among them.

• Render accurately the source information and apply hotspots to tagged items, which allow you to easily navigate through the related information.
