Automatic point synchronization (APS)

Many interfaces, such as the PI OPC interface, support automatic point synchronization (APS). For example, PI points can be automatically created on Data Archive based on the points in the OPC server using a configurable set of rules. You must consult your interface-specific documentation to determine whether your interface supports APS.
