Learn about Properties

Properties of metrics are not created. The only property that is read is the unit of measure (UOM). The UOM is included in the PI tag. For further information, see Learn about the PI AF structure for MQTT Sparkplug. Additional device information, such as Manufacturer, Device Type, and Serial Number are received as metrics, and therefore create a PI point for each of them.
