Configure the Operating System

Install Desktop Experience feature on the Windows server to install the components that are important to run the application.

Note: You can choose to install either Windows Server 2016 or Windows Server (Server with Desktop Experience) from the Setup Wizard. The Windows Server with the Desktop Experience option is the equivalent of the complete installation (with Desktop Experience feature installed) option available in Windows Server 2012 R2.
