Specific method for reading a field of type string from the currently locked record.

Syntax

string ReadString( 
   string fieldName
)
String^ ReadString( 
   String^ fieldName
)

Parameters

fieldName
The field of interest to read.

Return Value

The value retrieved associated with the given field.
