Consider these software security notes before installation.

Privileges

AVEVA™ XR Bridge installation requires Administrator privileges to increase the security of the installation folder. After installation is complete, using the installed XR Framework solutions does not require Administrator privileges.

Used ports

Various applications belonging to the XR Framework might use the following ports:

• 10665 UDP for streams

• 10666 TCP for shares

Port usage depends on launch configuration. It is possible to overwrite default port values.
