AVEVA Adapter for Modbus TCP Module 1​.7

AVEVA Adapter for Modbus TCP collects time series data and relevant metadata from Modbus TCP devices and sends it to configured OMF endpoints such as PI Web API and CONNECT data services.

AVEVA Adapter for Modbus TCP Module Version 1.7.0, released October 2026, is a containerized version of the adapter that can be deployed using Edge Management on CONNECT data services. It offers the same capabilities as the adapter that is available for installation directly on the device.

The 1.7 Module release uses Version 1.7.0 of the Modbus TCP adapter, Version 1.8.3.128 of the Adapter Framework, Version 1.3.0 of the Edge Module Manager, and Version 3.24.1 of Alpine Linux.
