Client Failover Service

Add an administrator user

In the Client Failover Service, administrators can change logging levels, delete groups, set up OMF Health Endpoints, and perform role overrides.

To provide administrator privileges to a user:

  1. Using the Windows run application, enter lusrmgr.msc to open the Microsoft Management Console displaying the local users and groups.

  2. Double-click Groups and select AVEVAFailoverAdministrators to display the group properties.

  3. Select Add to display the Select Users pane.

  4. Enter the username in the Object Name box.

  5. Verify the username by selecting Check Names.

  6. Select OK.
