To troubleshoot DMZ Secure Link, view diagnostic information using either the DMZ Secure Link application or the Operations Control Management Console logger.
View diagnostic information with DMZ Secure Link

Run DMZ Secure Link from the Start menu.

Select Diagnostics. The Configuration Complete dialog displays.
As incoming requests are processed by DMZ Secure Link they are logged with one of three results:

The request is allowed because it is on the allowlist.
If a request is allowed because it matches an entry on the allowlist, a message such as the following displays:
Request from 192.168.0.4 for 'connect.aveva.com' allowed

The request is blocked because it is not on the allowlist.
If a request is blocked because it does not match any entries on the allowlist, a message such as the following displays:
Request from 192.168.0.4 for 'login.live.com' disabled in "allowlist"

The request is blocked because of the configuration settings.
DMZ Secure Link has the configuration option to disable connections to specific AVEVA products or geographic regions. If a request that would otherwise be allowed by the allowlist, but is disabled by the DMZ Secure Link configuration settings, a message such as the following displays:
Request from 192.168.0.4 for 'connect.aveva.com' disabled per your configuration settings

Save a copy of the logged requests to a file for sharing with AVEVA technical support. Select Save Log to save a copy of the logged requests to a text file.
View diagnostic information with OCMC logger

Run Operations Control Management Console from the Start menu.

Expand Log Viewer and Default Group and then select Local.

DMZ Secure Link messages are logged by the aahDMZSecureLink.ForwardProxy.Driver component.
