Console tree (scope pane)

The console tree is located in the left pane and displays all available components in a hierarchical structure. Each component appears as a node that can be expanded to access related tools and subcomponents.

Details pane (results pan)

The details pane is located in the right pane and displays information related to the selected item in the console tree. This may include configuration details, system status, or available actions.

The content in the details pane updates dynamically based on the selected node.

Note: Some of the general functionality of the Operations Control Management Console like File, Action, View, and Help are provided by the MMC container. For more information about using the MMC, see Microsoft Management Console documentation.
