Learn about changes to the PI Server 2018 documentation set

The AVEVA PI Server 2018 documentation set has been reorganized to help streamline key content and help you quickly locate information. The documentation reflects the same PI Server product documentation downloaded from our customer portal.

The following list describes changes to the PI Server 2018 documentation set:

• The Security Configuration guide is now located in PI Server Installation and Configuration.

• Data Archive System Management has been renamed to Data Archive Administration.

• Data Archive Reference now includes Auditing, Batch to Event Frames, and MDB to AF.

• Analytics and Notifications, once a part of the PI System Explorer User Guide, is now published separately online.

• Buffering and High Availability are now in one document.
