Complete the following steps to install UOC for Mining:

  1. Install the Windows Desktop Experience feature.

  2. Install Microsoft SQL Server.

  3. Install and configure System Platform 2020 R2 SP1.

  4. Configure System Platform 2020 R2 SP1. This step includes several steps involving the installation and configuration of the following:

    • Insight Newsfeed

  5. Create a new folder in C drive with the name “UOCMining” for Event Frames.

    Note: Install Roboto font from https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Roboto. You can do this at any stage of the installation process.

Check that the hardware and software requirements are met for installing the required applications. Also, check that you have a valid license for all the applications.

Prerequisites

To view or edit the ViewApp, change the system resolution to 1920 x 1080.
