Note:
- You can upgrade directly to AVEVA Work Tasks 2023 R2 U1 from AVEVA Work Tasks 2023,
AVEVA Work Tasks 2023 SP1, or AVEVA Work Tasks 2023 R2. For versions earlier than
AVEVA Work Tasks 2023, first upgrade to AVEVA Work Tasks 2023, and then upgrade to
AVEVA Work Tasks 2023 R2 U1.
- This upgrade executes faster on computers with Windows Installer version 5.0. However,
in computers with Windows Installer version 4.5 and lower, the upgrade process might
take 40 to 45 minutes approximately, based on the configuration of the computer. This
is due to the InstallValidate sequence which runs during the upgrade process and compares
all the AVEVA Work Tasks 2023 and AVEVA Work Tasks 2023 SP1 files with AVEVA Work
Tasks 2023 R2 files.
