Before You Upgrade

Work Tasks Upgrade

Run Upgrade Manager

1. Back up the AVEVA Work Tasks installation folder.

2. Back up all databases associated with AVEVA Work Tasks.

3. Stop all AVEVA Work Tasks services.

4. Restart IIS.

1. Download the latest AVEVA Work Tasks installer.

2. Install AVEVA Work Tasks. The installer installs the prerequisite software required by the application.

3. Upgrade all custom assemblies used for custom activities, SOA assemblies, custom event handlers, custom resource providers, or other custom components.

You must upgrade these assemblies to .NET Framework 4.8 to work with the latest version of the product.

1. Allow the installation to complete. The AVEVA Work Tasks Upgrade Wizard appears automatically.
