Scan the system

Select Scan to diagnose the state of your local installation. On completing the scan, the AVEVA Common Services Portal displays the following information:

  • Indicator - Provides an indication about the area encountering the issue. For example, the version of Platform Common Services, the registry permissions or machine roles, etc.

  • Description - Provides details of the indication, such as the version of Platform Common Services or messages indicating inadequate permissions, etc. The description also provides details for resolving the issue encountered.

    Note: Contact Customer Support if the recommended solution does not resolve the issue.

  • Status - Displays icons that represent the state of indication:

    • Good: Indicates that there are no issues.

    • Warning: Indicates there may be an issue, but one that does not require immediate action.

    • Problem: Indicates an issue that needs to be resolved for that part of the framework to function correctly.
