To configure None as the provider option, complete the following steps:
-
Select None as the FIDP option.
-
Sign in to Identity Manager using Windows Active Directory credentials only. This supports domain users and local users (on the computer where Identity Manager is configured).
-
Enter credentials using one of the following supported formats:
-
SAN format: <domainname>/<username>
-
Email address format: <username>@<domain.com>
-
When the FIDP plugin is set to Microsoft Entra ID or CONNECT, any sign-in entered in email format (username@domain.com) is treated as an external identity-provider login and is redirected to the configured FIDP when available. As a result, you cannot use the email format to authenticate against Windows Active Directory in this configuration; you must use the Windows AD sign-in format (for example, <domain>\<username>).
