PI Connector for Siemens SIMATIC PCS 7

Applying the filter based on OpenPCS 7 block types

  • Last UpdatedDec 28, 2022
  • 1 minute read

The exported .csv file can be saved, edited, and uploaded back to the connector. The first column allows for marking each individual Property/Variable as "collectable". In other words, when marked (x), the connector will replicate the given Property/Variable to PI. Click Browse and navigate to the modified .csv, after saving the data source configuration, only properties or variables on the marked lines will be collected.

If the row, where the given Block Type is defined is unmarked (no 'x ' there), the connector will not create this template and no OpenPCS 7 entities of this type will be replicated.

Click Change or Delete and navigate to the modified .csv. After saving the whole data source configuration only those properties or variables on the marked lines will be collected.
