Swap

The swap descriptor is obsolete. Use swapbytes and swapwords to swap bytes and/or words independently. The swap descriptor has been kept for backwards compatibility.

For most data types, the swap descriptor is equivalent to swapwords. Data type 16 (IEEE 754 double-precision floating-point number) is an exception. For more information, see the Byte and Word Swapping section in this manual: Location3 (data type and function code).
