Specific installation considerations

The PI Interface for Siemens SIMATIC Batch requires the Siemens PI CONNECT Simatic Batch API DLL (PIConnectSimatic64.dll) for normal operation. You must obtain this DLL from Siemens prior to installing this batch interface.

After the installing the interface, place the DLL in the SISBatch interface installation directory (normally located at %PIHOME% \Interfaces\SISBatch). Without this DLL, the interface cannot read from the SIMATIC database.
