PI SQL DAS (PI Integrators) installation results

Files are installed in the PIHOME\SQLDAS directory. The PI SQL Data Access Server (OLE DB) Windows service is registered with the startup type Automatic, and then it is started.

By default, the service is configured to run as the built-in virtual service account (NT SERVICE\PISqlDas.Integrator).

OSIsoft recommends that network administrators not change this default virtual service account unless this is required by company-specific network policies.

Note: It is possible to use a domain account instead of the service account; however, Kerberos delegation must be configured accordingly.

By default, PI SQL DAS (PI Integrators) uses the following ports for the communication with the specific driver:

You might have third-party firewall or virus scanner tools that restrict communication through those ports. Make sure those ports are accessible.
