A PI driver delegates all SQL commands via PI SQL DAS (OLE DB) to the underlying query engine.

When connected to a PI Server, the built-in PI Integrator Query Engine is used. Refer to PI Integrator for Microsoft Azure User Guide, PI Integrator for Business Analytics User Guide, and PI Integrator for SAP HANA User Guide for the supported SQL syntax.
