Backup folder

AVEVA Process Simulation on CONNECT uses persistent cloud storage to maintain simulation files between sessions. Each user of each product version has a cloud storage folder. These are synchronized with each AVEVA Process Simulation session when they start and when they stop. Files that persist beyond the session are kept in C:\asbackup on the AVEVA Process Simulation session. A shortcut to this folder, named ASBACKUP, is kept on the desktop.

Notes

AVEVA Process Simulation on CONNECT does not save:

• Modifications to the AVEVA Process Simulation on CONNECT session

• Files kept outside of C:\asbackup

• C:\asbackup is the default working folder.
