Chart your data

With AVEVA Insight, you can search for specific tags and see them in a single chart view.

From here, you can choose the chart type, add or remove tags from the chart, fine-tune how the content is displayed. You can also save and share your content.

1. Add search criteria.

2. The Search Results are categorized by unit of measure on the left. Choose a category to work with.

   Note: Units of measure are case-sensitive. That means ml (milliliters) and ML (megaliters) are not identified as the same measurement.

3. Your data displays in the main area. The icon next to the chart name indicates who the owner is and whether the chart is shared.

4. In the Gallery on the right, select the data tag icon to view and choose data tags for display.
   Or, select the chart icon to view and choose the chart for your data.

5. The Legend lists all tags included in the chart. You can choose to hide tag values here.

6. Any keywords associated with this content.

7. From the dropdown below the chart ("Showing the..."), choose a data retrieval mode and frequency (daily, hourly, or every 15 minutes).

8. At the bottom of the screen, refine the timeframe for your data.

9. Select the share icon to save and reuse your content.
