Creating a new trend chart resets all trend settings to the default values.

To create a new trend

  • On the File menu, click New.

To configure the new trend, see Configure a Trend. By default, the new trend is in standard trend mode. To create an XY scatter plot, see Viewing Data in a Scatter Plot.
