The AVEVA PI Vision OMI App enables a PI Vision dashboard or ad hoc display to be shown within a layout pane of a running ViewApp. Displays can be configured to follow the current navigation context, and thus allow users to view the status of assets in different locations.
-
For the PI Vision App, enable Single Sign-On.
-
The PI Vision app requires you to update the web server and website in the "UOCMidStream_PIVision" layout.
-
In the properties exposed for the PI Vision app, edit "WebServer" and "Website" with specific details.
To configure PI Vision:
-
If you are not connected to OSI PI, then simulated data is displayed in the PI Vision Screen.
-
For PI Vision on OMI Web, you need to configure UOCMidStream_PIVision_WebSym with the asset URL since the PI Vision app does not support OMI Web.
Refer to AVEVA OMI Apps > PI Vision App – Enterprise section from AVEVA Help to configure the PI Vision App.
