Learn about the AVEVA Edge Management Deployment

AVEVA Edge Management is a cloud-based device management solution that enables remote deployment, configuration, and upgrades of AVEVA adapters. With AVEVA Edge Management, adapters can be deployed to Windows x64, Linux x64, and ARM64 devices as Linux containers.

Despite AVEVA Edge Management being a cloud-based solution, it is not required to egress data to the cloud. It can be used to manage AVEVA adapters egressing data to AVEVA PI Server, Edge Data Store, CONNECT data services, or all three. Since it is a cloud-based solution, devices need an internet connection to be managed, either directly or through a proxy.
