The AVEVA Web Client is installed whenever the OMI or InTouch runtime component is installed on a node, and lets users view OMI or InTouch HMI applications in a web browser.

The AVEVA Web Client contains two configuration items:

  • Settings

  • Role Management

Changes to the configuration apply to both AVEVA OMI and InTouch web clients.

Note: Configuring the Web Client plugin is optional if no customization is needed; the default configuration is functional.
