Exceptions - Significant Defects and Recommended Workarounds

When the input DWG files are stored in an S3 bucket, support for multiple layouts is limited to only the “Active” layout. If other layouts need to be extracted then the DWG files should first be copied to a server folder and then processed by the Gateway.

We have noticed on one MicroStation DGN file that when processed the SVG view in AIM is zoomed too far out to be viewable in AIM. This was due to some blank text labels created in the input DGN file at large distances from the main drawing boundary. As the extractor for MicroStation 2D uses third party software to read the DGN files, we are waiting to receive a fix from that supplier.

The recommended workaround is to open the drawing in MicroStation, select all items in the visible part of the drawing and copy them to a new DGN instance.
