Find the right connector

AVEVA offers PI connectors for a variety of common data formats, all of which can be downloaded for installation from the customer portal. To determine which installation kit is right for your purposes, all you need is the name of the data source for the devices from which you need to collect data; for instance, BACnet, Cygnet, Ethernet-IP.

1. Log in to the Customer Portal.

2. Enter the name of a PI connector in the Search by Name, Serial#, or Product Family field, then select Enter. Alternatively, search the word "connector" to return a list of AVEVA PI connectors.

3. Scroll to find the connector you are using and select the Download Installation Kits and Documentation icon. There listed are Installation Kits, Documentation, and Other resources.

4. Download the installation kit for the product you want to deploy.

   

   In this example, selecting PI Connector for UFL takes you to the download window from which you can choose from two available install kits.

5. Select Download for the install kit you want to deploy.
