Create a UDL file

Use these steps to create a UDL file:

Open File Explorer.

Navigate to the folder where you want to create the UDL file.

Right-click the folder, select New, and then select Text Document.

In the Tools menu, select Folder Options. On the View tab, clear the Hide file extensions for known file types check box and then select OK.

Rename the file to have the .udl extension.
