PI OLEDB Enterprise consists of a server and a client component:

  • PI Asset Framework Server versions 2014 through 2018 SP3 Patch 3 include the server component. Later versions require installation of the PI SQL Data Access Server (RTQP Engine) kit on the server side.

  • PI OLEDB Enterprise is a client component that installs the OLE DB provider and PI AF Client Software. It also includes PI SQL Commander Lite, a query development and testing tool.

    Note: The installation must be run from an account that has administrative privileges.

    1. Run the PI OLEDB Enterprise setup kit.
