Configure the AVEVA PI OPC UA Server

The Configurator configures the PI OPC UA Server. It is normally run after installing the PI OPC UA Server. The Configurator program also can be independently run from the AVEVA Program Folder.
Prerequisite
A certificate file is required prior to configuration of the connection.
Configuration Overview
AVEVA PI OPC UA Server configuration
OPC UA uses a client certificate to manage access to the server from the client(s). The window allows:

Selection of the client certificate

Port Number

Disabling authentication

Disabling encryption
-
Advanced settings

Determination of the type and amount log information is made here as well.
The settings on this page allow you to select:

Which PI Systems in your network are accessible by the PI OPC UA Server, and

What access permissions are allowed access to PI systems:

Read only

Read/Write
