View the PI Web API installation log files

The SetupPIWebAPIMaster.log file indicates the overall success or failure of the installation.

If errors occur during installation, contact AVEVA Knowledge and Support and examine the installation log files as directed.

1. For failed installations, the main log is located here:

   C:\Program Files (x86)\PIPC\dat\SetupPIWebAPIMaster.log

2. Additional logs are written to:

   • C:\ProgramData\osisoft\setup\log\SetupPIWebAPI_DIalogs_<Date>.log

   • C:\Program Files (x86)\PIPC\dat\SetupPIWebApi.log

   • C:\Program Files\PIPC\WebAPI\OSIsoft.REST.Admin.log
