AVEVA Adapter for Structured Data Files enables you to configure data source and data selection. You also have the ability to configure queries to run on the data source. The adapter can be configured with any programming language or tool that supports making calls.
To validate configurations, you can perform data retrieval ( commands) using any programming language or tool that supports making calls, if available on your device.
Definition: The GET method is used to retrieve data on a server.

Quick Start
This Quick Start guides you through setup of each configuration file available for the AVEVA Adapter for Structured Data Files. As you complete each step, perform each configuration to establish a data flow from a data source to one or more endpoints. Some configurations are optional.
Important: If you want to complete the optional configurations in each step below, complete those tasks before the required tasks.

Configure system components to define each component instance on the system host.

Configure egress endpoints to defines the final locations that the adapter sends OMF data.
(Optional) Configure a network proxy if there is a proxy between the adapter and your egress endpoints.
