AVEVA Adapter for Structured Data Files 1.1.0.493, released May 2025, is a feature release that includes support for client-level failover and support for data from multiple assets in a single source file. Version 1.1.0.493 uses version 1.8.3.128 of the Adapter Framework.

New features and enhancements

The following items were added in this release:

  • Support for client-level failover. Warm and Cold failover modes are supported.

  • Enables an enhanced discovery process to automatically find data selection items within source files

  • Support for data from multiple assets in a single source file

  • Enables writing Unit Of Measure (UOM) to stream definition

  • Hostname and IP addressed are removed from all log levels except verbose.

  • The adapter now supports the 'DefaultValue' property passed from the Text Parser.

  • An error is now logged when discovery is triggered without any file in the discovery folder.

  • HasHeader now defaults to true.

  • Enhanced discovery process. Support query and column mapping for stream identification based on column(s) values

  • Added support for adding UOMs to stream definitions.
