Get started with Structured Data Files

Here are a few things to check before you install and start using the adapter:

1. Check your computer and operating system

   SimCentral is a 64-bit multi-user and client-server software application and will need to install services on your computer. In order to install the adapter you must be logged in with administrator privileges on a 64-bit version of Windows® 7 SP1, 8.1, 10 or Windows Server 2012.

2. Get the latest version of the software

   In order to run the adapter, you need to download the latest version of the software.

3. Review the installation instructions

   There are specific steps you must follow if you are installing the adapter for the first time or upgrading from a previous release.
