To install the SDK for developing stand-alone .NET applications, just run Setup.exe from the AVEVA Historian SDK setup media.
The setup creates a Windows Start menu item in the AVEVA group called Historian SDK, which contains links to the documentation and the SDK samples.
On a 64-bit operating system, the SDK binaries are installed by default in the folder C:\Program Files\ArchestrA\Toolkits\Bin. The 64-bit SDK assembly called aahClientManaged.dll is installed in the \x64 subfolder, while the 32-bit version is installed in the \x86 subfolder.
