The initial release of AVEVA Operations Control connected experience — delivered with AVEVA System Platform 2023 R2 — does not support one-step user switching.
To switch users you must log out and log in again as a different user.
Switch user workflow notes

The switch user workflow is available for both design time and run time. Switching users requires logging off then logging on as a new user.

Signing out the current user may leave the application running in a read-only mode until the new user signs in.
