Upgrade to connected experience

The release of AVEVA System Platform 2023 R2 includes the initial release of AVEVA Operations Control connected experience. Upgrading to System Platform 2023 R2 from System Platform 2023 or earlier requires product configuration to enable the full Operations Control connected experience functionality.

• The System Platform upgrade to 2023 R2 starts from a non-connected experience installation.

• Upgrade each node as described in the AVEVA System Platform Installation help.

• Configure AVEVA Operations Control connected experience as described in Configure Operations Control with connected experience.

• After each node has been upgraded to 2023 R2, convert your existing applications to connected experience on each node.

• Applications you configure after configuring connected experience will have all connected experience functions enabled.
