Switch AVEVA Connect account

You can switch from one AVEVA Connect account to another. Individual products may require follow up actions after the Connect account is changed in the Federated Identity Provider.
Switch accounts on the same node

If AVEVA Connect product security is enabled - disable security in the product (select None or equivalent in the product)

On Federated Identity Provider nodes in the Configurator:

Select None.

Complete the connected experience configuration workflow described in Configure Operations Control with connected experience.

Click the Configure button.

Return to the Federated Identity Provider drop-down list and select AVEVA Connect again.
This restarts the account selection process. When you are asked to select the account, you can select different account. There is no need to re-register the product with AVEVA Identity Manager.

Return to product security and select Connect security
Configuring product security can differ for each product. Some products, such as Application Server, are configured in the product UI. Some products, such as Historian, are configured in the Configurator.
Switch accounts on different nodes

Repeat steps 1-4 on each node.
You must select the same account as that on the Federated Identity Provider (FIDP) node. For example, Historian could be on a different node.

Change individual application security according to the new active account.
