Supported function parameters

For some of the supported functions listed above, the connector supports a set of parameters that represent a piece of data that can be retrieved by that function. The data type of each function parameter is determined by the FANUC Focas standard.

About static and dynamic function parameters

• If you define a function parameter as a static attribute (by leaving the scan rate field empty in the configuration file) for a PI AF element, the connector will create the value stream for the attribute as a String data type.

• If you define a function parameter as a dynamic attribute (by specifying a value in the scan rate field in the configuration file) for a PI AF element, the connector will create the value stream for the attribute using the data type lists for the parameters for each supported function in the tables below.
