Asset and measurement definition

The PI Connector for FANUC Focas retrieves data from the data source (CNC machine) by individual function requests. The data source itself does not contain structural or relational information for the connector to define the asset hierarchies in PI Asset Framework, nor does it provide the information to specify the name of PI points in Data Archive. Therefore, the PI Connector for FANUC Focas requires a measurement configuration file in CSV (comma separated value) format to define the assets, PI points and measurements.
