Add a data source

Add a data source and configure it for data collection using PI Data Collection Manager. For details, see the Data collection configuration section of the PI Connector Administration user guide.

1. Under Connectors, click the status box for the configured connector.

2. In the Details pane, select the Data tab and click Add Data Source.

3. Populate the parameters described in the following sections:

   • Data source configuration settings

   • Advanced configuration

   • Failover and redundancy

   • OPC UA Communication Timeouts

   • OPC UA Historical Data

   • OPC UA Subscription Parameters

   • Transformational Rules

4. Click Save.
