Learn about PI AF Client and ​.NET 3​.5

Beginning with PI AF 2018 SP3 Patch 2, an installation of PI AF Client based on Microsoft .NET 3.5 is no longer available. If you need to perform an installation of PI AF Client based on .NET 3.5, visit the customer portal for assistance.

Typically, organizations require PI AF Client .NET 3.5 if they are using legacy PI Notifications (2012x or earlier) or if they have custom applications written using the .NET 3.5 version of the AF SDK.
