Understand object naming guidelines

Object names must comply with these guidelines:

• No leading or trailing spaces. Spaces are automatically removed.

• Maximum name length is 259 characters

• No blank names

  You can use these standard keyboard characters with the following exceptions:

  Object type	Invalid characters
  All objects except contacts	Control characters plus: * ? ; { } [ ] | \ ` ' "
  Contacts only	Control characters plus: * ? ; [ ] | \ "
