To limit who can access the component, you can configure the component security.
You can choose a separate security permission group from the default to prevent unauthorized Administrators/Controllers from accessing the component. You must choose at least one of the DNA Permission groups. Use commas to add more than one group.
To configure component security
- From the %DNADataRoot%\<Silo>\config\BLT directory, create or edit a <BLTHostAppName>.json file.
- Edit the following line, using commas if you want to add more than one group:
"NewComponent1": [ "DNA Permission - Control_SCADA", "DNA Permission - Supervise_SCADA", "DNA Permission - Config_Database" ]To check the available security permissions, use the Permission folder of the Network Management Console (NMC).
