Retrieves the length of the next available item in the buffer.

Syntax

public int GetNextItemLength()
public:
int GetNextItemLength();

Return Value

The length of the item if the result is positive. Otherwise, zero.

Remarks

Since these values are all unmanaged data types, their native size is returned, even if this is different than a sizeof() value.
