Import users

Note: Before beginning the import process, make sure that all groups mentioned in the spreadsheet are available in CONNECT If the groups are not available, then users will be assigned to a default ‘Users’ group. Users can be assigned to additional groups as part of the import process; but these groups must already exist in CONNECT.
To import users:

From the CONNECT portal, select User Management.

Select Imports.

Select the import icon situated at the top-right of the screen and then browse to and select the completed Excel spreadsheet.
Note: The maximum file size of this spreadsheet cannot exceed 300 KB. The import process cannot be cancelled after it has begun.
The import process begins. The status of the current import (and any previous imports) is shown in the table on the screen.
On completion of the import process, the imported users are shown on the Users tab in CONNECT.
Each new user created receives an invitation email with details on how to access CONNECT, unless you specify that you do not wish the new user to receive this email.
Note: Invitation emails can only be disabled for federated users.
